En múltiples grupos y trayectorias del periodo del judaísmo tardío los ángeles interpretan revelaciones, son enviados por Dios, y participan activamente en los acontecimientos escatológicos; paradójicamente, en Qumrán, los ángeles – e incluso Dios mismo –, guardan silencio. El objetivo del artículo estudia el silencio de los ángeles en Songs of the Sabbath Sacrifice, colocando en evidencia que este silencio la posición ideológica de la comunidad, enmarcado en la jerarquización del lenguaje divino-humano, una visión predeterminista del Paraíso y un retorno al Edén mediante la alabanza junto con los ángeles delante del trono de Yahvéh.
Multiple groups and trajectories of the period of late Judaism, angels interpret revelations, they are sent by God, and actively participate in the eschatological events; paradoxically, in Qumran, the angels – and even God himself – are silent. The objective of the article studies the silence of the angels in Songs of the Sabbath Sacrifice, highlighting that this silence the ideological position of the community, framed in the hierarchical model of the divine-human language, a predetermined vision of Paradise and a return to Eden through praise together with the angels before Yahweh’s throne.
